Suspect arrested in Splendora found to be out on bond for murder in Louisiana

SPLENDORA, Texas – A suspect arrested after Splendora Police said he was found with illegal narcotics and a loaded gun in his car was discovered to be out on bond for murder in Louisiana.

The Splendora Police Department said an officer pulled over a vehicle Saturday night for a minor traffic violation.

As the officer investigated, he obtained probable cause to search the vehicle and found illegal narcotics and a loaded gun inside the car.

The suspect, identified by Montgomery County court records as 19-year-old Immanuel Dockery, of Tallulah, LA, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapons and possession of marijuana.

The department said after checking Dockery’s background, they discovered he was out on bond for murder in Louisiana.

“This incident underscores the importance of our officers’ vigilance and dedication to keeping our community safe,” the department said.
