According to Lt. Riley with the Houston Police Department, a woman called the police and said that about four or five men were standing outside her home with rifles, pounding on her door.

Riley said at some point, the men forced entry inside of the woman’s home which caused a gunfight between the suspects and the people who were inside of the home.

No one inside of the home was injured however, Riley says that one of the suspects was struck multiple times in the head. That suspect was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

At this time, it is unclear what led up to the incident.

If you have any information regarding the shooting, contact the Houston Police Department at (713) 884-3131 or Crime Stoppers Houston at (713) 222-TIPS.
