HOUSTON – United Airlines confirms a flight bound for Boston diverted after a customer experienced a medical issue Sunday.
The company says United flight UA2477 took off from Bush Intercontinental Airport and was headed to Boston when it had to divert and land at Washington-Dulles International Airport.

The flight had 155 passengers along with six crew members and the aircraft was a Boeing 737-800. The company said none of the passengers or crew needed medical assistance upon arrival.
“The aircraft is currently undergoing a deep clean and we are working to get customers on their way to Boston soon,” the company said in a statement.
