HOUSTON – Hobby Airport has resumed operations after the Runway 13R/31L was closed for an emergency runway repair.
The airport said operations resumed at 6:40 p.m.

While the airport says no flights needed to be canceled because of the repair, the airport is currently experiencing departure delays an average of a hour and 45 minutes, according to FlightAware.
Hobby Airport says all arriving and departing flights have been temporarily paused due to an emergency repair taking place on the runway.
The airport said Runway 13R/31L is closed for an emergency repair.

This is the second time since July 15 the airport has had to close the runway for a repair.
