Food delivery driver punches customer after delivering food at wrong address in Cypress

CYPRESS – Deputies responded to an assault where a food delivery driver punched a customer after delivering food to the wrong address.

Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to a call the Laurel Glen neighborhood regarding an assault involving a food delivery driver.

Upon arrival, deputies detained 19-year-old Josiah Blanco.

Investigators said Blanco had delivered the food at the wrong address and then told the customer, who ordered the food, to go get their order from the incorrect address instead.

When the customer refused, Blanco became upset and punched the customer in the face after delivering the food to the correct address.

Blanco was taken into custody.

Blanco was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail where he was charged with assault. His court and bond information have not been set at this time.
