LA PORTE, Texas – The City of La Porte is under a boil water notice Thursday due to an extended outage related to a water main repair in their system.

This means residents in La Porte are encouraged to boil their water before consuming (this includes washing hands/face, and brushing teeth). Children, seniors, and people with weak immune systems who are vulnerable to harmful bacteria are urged just as much to follow these guidelines.
