HOUSTON – Two Houston police officers were injured Friday afternoon after a car chase ended in a crash in southwest Houston.
The chase started at around 3:30 p.m. Friday after a driver alerted authorities that a gray Kia SUV was following their car after they had left the bank, and they were afraid they were being jugged.

The chase ended at around 4:15 p.m. at the intersection of Old Spanish Trail and Greenbriar Drive in southwest Houston. Officers immobilized the vehicle with a PIT maneuver.
HPD confirmed that the two jugging suspects involved in the chase were taken into custody.
