Recognize him? Investigators use digital imagery of young man after remains found in woods near West Houston Airport

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the remains of a young man found in a wooded area in Houston on October 30, 2023

The skeletal remains of an unidentified black male were discovered in a grassy and wooded area near the 18435 block of Morton Road in Houston. The individual is estimated to be between 16 and 22 years old and stood approximately between 5′10″ and 6′4″ tall.

When he was discovered he was wearing black “Hanes” boxer briefs. Nearby, the following items were found: khaki-colored “Merona” brand shorts with a belt (size 32x32), a gray sweatshirt with “Girls Pearland Softball Association” printed on the front, and a pair of black “Airwalk” brand sneakers (size 10.5).

A digitally reconstructed image, created by a forensic artist from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, offers a depiction of what the victim may have looked like.
