DPS will increase highway enforcement efforts across Texas from August 6-8, as part of the SafeDRIVE initiative. This initiative aims to reduce commercial motor vehicle collisions through heightened enforcement on Interstates 10, 20, 35, 40, and 45.
The key focus areas include aggressive driving, speeding, tailgating, distracted driving, driving under the influence, and ensuring CMV compliance with industry regulations.
