A man was shot and killed inside of a gas station in NW Houston Friday evening.
The shooting was reported at 6:28 p.m. and took place in the gas station located at 11902 Hempstead Rd. near the Spring Branch area.

The victim was found near the front door with a gunshot wound in his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses provided police with the suspect’s vehicle description and license plate number, and the suspected car was located in a nearby neighborhood. HPD has not announced a detainment or an arrest at this time.
