The Harris County - Houston Sports Authority, along with other city partners, said they are proud to welcome the athletes with Houston-area ties. They have had a successful run representing their country of choice during this year’s edition of the Olympic Games with some of them winning medals and setting records in the process.

When Deadmon was asked on how he felt about Texas having the most Olympians compete, he stated, “We are the greatest state in America.”
