Man arrested for stealing $1.5M fire engine

A man was arrested on August 14 after allegedly stealing a fire engine valued at $1.5 million.

According to court documents, the theft involved a public safety vehicle, resulting in Quentin Bernard being charged with theft of property valued at $300,000 or more, a felony offense.

This is not the first time the suspect has been involved in such crimes; on July 21 he was arrested for stealing an ambulance that was left idling in a hospital parking lot.

At that time, he was already out on a misdemeanor bond for criminal trespass in Harris County.
