Price’s brand-new, Oyster Hut brick-and-mortar, will be opening its doors in Louise, Texas soon and some social media users say they can’t wait!

The eatery will be located at 701 FM 1160 in Louise, which according to Price is only about 45 minutes outside of Houston.

Price said on his Instagram that the parking lot will hold about 150 cars, equipped with a full kitchen featuring three different bars and a mainstage for performers and house DJs.

He added that the shop will cater to El Campo, Hillje, Ganado, Edna, Victoria, Wharton, Richmond, Rosenburg, Bay City, and Columbus areas.

“I will do what I have done in the past with this first location and that’s cater to the customer and give them an experience out this world with my hospitality,” Price wrote on Instagram. “Going to show you how to cater to 10 small towns all in one... you remember on that test it said a,b,c,d, or e, we’ll pick ‘e’ that means you’re going to get all of the above and that means the works with me when it comes to this place.”

Price and his estranged wife, Nakia Holmes, opened up the Turkey Leg Hut back in 2017. The restaurant quickly became a staple in the Houston community and a tourist hotspot, with hundreds of celebrities stopping by Third Ward to try them out.

Last year, the couple seemingly faced struggles both personally and professionally.

In January 2023, the duo made headlines after getting sued by US Foods for $1.2M. In the lawsuit, the food company stated that Lynn and Nakia had failed to pay their grocery bill

“The total amount currently due and owing from Turkey Leg under the Turkey Leg Customer Agreement is $1,288,583.12, exclusive of interest, costs, and fees,” the lawsuit reads.

Following that announcement, Nakia gave insight into the marital issues the couple faced and said that the two parted ways after claiming that Lynn repeatedly abused her.

Nakia wrote on social media that the abuse, manipulation, lies, and narcissism from Lynn had become unbearable.

In February 2023, TLH officials stated that they were firing half their staff, including Lynn. At the time, paperwork stated that Lynn could not be on the property of the restaurant he founded.

Lynn then opened up the first edition of the Oyster Hut, which was a pop-up shop across the street from the TLH building.

Earlier this year on March 26, Turkey Leg Hut & Company, LLC. stated that they had officially declared a Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding, halting all collection efforts.
