HOUSTON – There’s a funny saying we all are familiar with that goes “Don’t talk to me until I’ve had my morning coffee” and one Houston resident had to put that into action when someone tried to mess with her WHILE she was having her morning coffee.
The fact in Houston people can’t even enjoy their coffee anymore is one thing, but KPRC 2 has learned that an unidentified woman attends Uncle Bean’s Coffee on Houston Ave. every morning. And on this day, when two thieves tried to steal her purse, she had to show them why they picked the wrong day.
Surveillance video shared by the coffee shop shows the woman taking off as soon as her purse is snatched and the two thieves take off running.
They didn’t run fast enough though because the woman was right behind them and showed them what time it was by bringing them to the ground, getting her purse back, and hopefully returning to her day, uninterrupted.
