Man dies after being ejected from vehicle after crashing into power pole in League City

LEAGUE CITY, Texas – A man has died after being ejected from his vehicle during a crash in League City Saturday.

The League City Police Department said the crash happened around 3 p.m. in the 4000 block of South Shore Blvd.

Police say a man was driving a blue sedan and crashed into an electric pole at the location. The vehicle was then engulfed in flames.

Authorities arrived at the scene and found the driver of the vehicle, who had been ejected during the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The LCPD Crash Team is currently conducting a thorough investigation of the collision. Anyone who might have witnessed this incident or that might have further information is encouraged to contact the League City Police Department at 281-332-2566,” the department said.
