Houston police are actively searching for the individual or individuals responsible for a fatal shooting that happened late Saturday night on the city’s south side.
Authorities were called to the scene at the intersection of Guadalcanal Road and Doolittle Boulevard around 11 p.m. in response to reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a man lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. The Houston Fire Department quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The victim, believed to be in his 20s, has not been identified.
As of now, police have no motive for the shooting and no suspect information. Investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information related to the case to come forward.
