“I was angry at first but it turned into fear and panic pretty quickly,” said her father Anthony Baker.

Baker told KPRC 2 he believes his daughter might have gone to New York City to visit a man she met online after family and friends shared a screenshot of her Delta airline ticket from IAH to NYC’s LaGuardia airport.

“We were able to contact the airline and they did confirm that she got on the plane,” Baker said. “I just found out that it’s a thing, that between 15 and 18 you don’t really need an ID or a parent or a consent or something like that, it kind of blows my mind.”

Baker said he also discovered pictures of the man she is believed to be with but doesn’t know his name, age or exact location.

“We contacted NYPD, their supposed to be working with Harris County to try and get as much information as they can to just get somebody to notice or say something,” said Baker.

Baker filed a missing persons report with the Harris County Precinct 5 Constables office who is investigating the case.

He is asking anyone with information on his daughters whereabout to please come forward.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit at 713-755-7427 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477
