HOUSTON – Houston, we have a problem!

Tuesday was officially the hottest day of the year so far, hitting 102°. The day before, it was 101°!

The excessive heat warning has been extended through tonight until 10:00 p.m., and while temperatures will lower by a degree or two on Thursday, it isn’t until Friday that heat indexes lower to 100°-105°.

We asked how you and your family are beating the heat, and many of you chose to show off your adorable pets.
