Beyoncé's team has reportedly issued a cease-and-desist order to the Donald Trump presidential campaign following the unauthorized use of her song “Freedom” in a social media post, according to Rolling Stone.

The track, from her acclaimed album Lemonade, was featured in a 13-second video showing former President Trump disembarking from a plane in Michigan. The video was posted on Tuesday by Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung.

A source close to Beyoncé confirmed to Rolling Stone that the Trump campaign did not obtain permission to use the song. Despite the cease-and-desist order from her label, the video remained on Cheung’s X account as of Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Harris-Walz campaign has recently released a new advertisement featuring “Freedom,” narrated by actor Jeffrey Wright.
