A Houston family is pleading for help in the search for Dionne Williams, who has not been seen since April.
Despite extensive efforts to find her, including handing out flyers and following up on leads, the family remains deeply concerned, fearing for her safety due to her lifestyle and recent disappearance.

Dionne, 35, was last seen in the Kashmere Gardens/Fifth Ward area. Standing at 5′4″ and weighing 165 lbs, Dionne’s family has been tirelessly searching for her, fearing the worst after she missed Mother’s Day—a day she never failed to acknowledge.
Her aunt, Genella Davis, shared the family’s concerns.
“The last time we saw her was around April,” she said. “We have a large family here in Houston, so we all got together and realized that no one had heard from her in a while. That’s when we decided to start looking for her.”
The family organized a search effort, passing out flyers and gathering information from the community.
“We handed out flyers and got a few leads,” Genella explained. “Two people told us they saw her about two and a half, three weeks ago on the southwest side, but we haven’t had any luck finding her.”
Dionne, who has been living a transient lifestyle, often moving from place to place and struggling with addiction, has always maintained contact with her family, even during difficult times.
The family is particularly worried because Dionne has two young daughters who depend on her.
“Despite everything, she is still a mom,” Genella added. “She does hair, and the last time I saw her, she braided my hair after she got out of jail. But then she disappeared.”

Despite her troubled past, the family describes Dionne as a caring and talented person.
“We have Sunday dinners and make a big deal about Mother’s Day,” Genella shared. “We’re a really close family, and it’s just not like her to disappear like this.”
The family typically knows where to find Dionne, which is why it comes as an even bigger surprise.
“We can usually find her in the Fifth Ward area, or at least someone there knows where she is,” Genalla added.
The Houston Police Department is involved in the search, and the family is hopeful that the authorities will be able to locate her.
“We’re hoping that her having a warrant might actually help us find her because she still would have come home or called by now,” Genella mentioned.
The family is asking anyone with information to come forward. “If anybody has seen or talked to her, or even communicated with her on social media, please let us know,” Genella pleaded.
Despite checking everywhere, the family has yet to find any trace of Dionne.
“We’ve checked the morgue, hospitals, jails, and even TDC, but there’s just no sign of her. She’s a really sweet girl, and we just want to see her,” Genella concluded.
