‘You got this!’ Loved ones send positive words to rapper Scarface after he was admitted to ICU at Houston area hospital

Houston rapper Scarface was admitted to an Intensive Care Unit at an area hospital over the weekend for an undisclosed medical condition.

Face, whose real name is Brad Terrence Jordan, is a member of the legendary group the Geto Boys.

Jordan shared the image of himself in a hospital bed, equipped with a breathing tube and what appeared to be electrode wires on his chest.

In the picture, a medical professional’s badge also shows that Face was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital and was undergoing treatment in the Cardiovascular ICU Unit, which specializes in the care of patients with severe heart disease and other conditions.

According to a Google search, “patients in the CICU often have complications like renal or respiratory failure, and may need constant monitoring or treatment. They may also require complex equipment and medications to support their bodily functions.”

In the caption on Instagram, Face wrote, “Ouch… 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Grateful,” leaving fans in the dark about what specific medical condition he was admitted for.

The post quickly garnered more than 50,000 likes and nearly 10,000 comments by both normal and notable fans.

Among the celebrities sending their love and support were Texas rappers Bun B, Travis Scott, comedian Cedric the Entertainer, and Astros star Alex Bregman.

Back in 2021, Scarface was able to receive a kidney transplant from his son, Chris Jordan after searching for a match for more than a year.

At this time, it is unclear how long Scarface may have to stay in the ICU.
