A winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million, purchased in Houston for the March 19 drawing, is on the verge of expiring.
The ticket, which matched all five white ball numbers (24-46-49-62-66) but missed the gold Mega Ball number (7), was bought at All-Season Food, located at 3411 Antoine Drive in Houston.

In addition to the $1 million prize, the ticket also includes a $2 win. However, if not claimed by the deadline, the ticket will expire on Sunday, Sept. 15.
Lottery officials urge the ticket-holder to claim the prize in person at a Texas Lottery claim center by 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, due to weekend office closures. The Texas Lottery recommends checking their website, texaslottery.com, for any updates on claim center hours, as they may change unexpectedly.

“We hope to celebrate the Texas Lottery player who became a $1 million prize winner in the March 19, 2024, Mega Millions drawing, said Ryan Mindell, executive director of the Texas Lottery in a press release. “We encourage our Mega Millions players to take another look at their tickets, check the numbers again, and if your numbers match, sign the back of the ticket before claiming your prize at a Texas Lottery claim center.”
Ticket-holders must claim their prizes within 180 days from the draw date, after which unclaimed prizes will revert back to the state to fund programs authorized by the Texas Legislature. The deadline may be extended for certain eligible military personnel.
