Back on the mound! Simone Biles to throw Ceremonial First Pitch at Friday’s Astros Game

Simone Biles threw out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 2 of the World Series at Minute Maid Park in Houston on Oct. 23, 2019.

HOUSTON – The most decorated gymnast in history will once again take the mound at Minute Maid Park!

Fresh off her Olympic victory in Paris, Simone Biles will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch at Friday’s Astros game against the Kansas City Royals.

Biles won three gold medals and a silver at the Paris Games, and several other Olympians will also be honored at the game.

Simone Biles last took the mound before Game 2 of the 2019 World Series. Her backflip before the pitch immediately went viral, making her one of the most memorable pitchers in Astros history. (No offense to Roger Clemens!)
