Houston businessman, rapper Bun B and his partners are set to launch ‘Trill Tenders,’ at TDECU Stadium at the University of Houston.

But that’s not all!

Along with the debut of Trill Tenders, Trill Burgers will also be available in the concession area of the 40,000-seat stadium, specifically at Section 138 near the student entrance at ICON Gate 2.

Students and fans will be able to get some of the trill meals during Houston’s home football games.

The first one is Saturday, Aug. 31, when the season kicks off against UNLV at 6 p.m.

Fans can choose from an OG Burger Combo, which includes the Trill OG Burger and french fries, or a Trill Tenders Combo, featuring three Trill Tenders with Soy OG and Pink OG dipping sauces accompanied by Cajun cut crinkle fries. Both options will be served in special Scarlet Red UH-branded packaging.

“We’ve been looking for the perfect spot to open the first location of Trill Tenders, and when the opportunity at TDECU Stadium presented itself, we jumped at the chance,” Bun B said. “My wife Queenie is from Third Ward, and we’re thrilled to bring Trill Tenders and Trill Burgers to Cougar fans as they embark on a new era under coach Willie Fritz. Go Coogs!”

The Trill team developed Trill Tenders after being invited to compete in Los Angeles’ Tenderfest, the world’s largest chicken tenders celebration, in October 2023. Led by chefs Mike Pham and Fernando Valladares, the team won against top Hollywood chefs. Trill Tenders made its Houston debut at the Houston Texans’ Taste of the Texans charity event in November and held a successful pop-up at NRG Stadium before a Texans home game in December.

Earlier in the year, Trill Burgers was ordered by a judge to stop paying its owners their management fee, court documents said.

The legal battle revolves around the Vivares siblings accusing Bun B of stealing their recipe, while Trill Burgers’ co-owners countered by claiming funds were being misappropriated, leading to Vivares’ eventual exit.
