Doze was last seen at 5:55 p.m. Sunday in the 7700 block of Heron Lakes Drive.

Her family says Madelynn had been reprimanded by her father. Her father left the house to go pick up one of Madelynn’s older siblings from work and when he came back she was gone. The family says the front door was left open and another sibling who was at home did not know Madelynn had left.

A report was filed with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office when she didn’t return home by 9 p.m., according to the family.

The family says it doesn’t appear that she took anything with her. They believe she may have been wearing flip-flops or no shoes at all when she left.

She was also last seen wearing a green, yellow, and red bonnet, a black Hello Kitty t-shirt, and black pants.

Madelynn’s family said she has autism and they are extremely concerned for her safety.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit at 713-755-7427.
