HOUSTON – It’s the second student this month at Bellaire High School who reportedly brought a weapon on campus grounds.
Principal Niggli stated that they were alerted of a student in possession of a weapon on campus.

Houston Independent School District police officers responded to the school and confiscated the weapon. No injuries were reported.
Details on what type of weapon and status of the student were not provided by the district.
“Please know that we take these situations very seriously, as the safety of our students and staff is always our absolute top priority,” Niggli stated in a letter to parents.
