Man fatally attacked, left lying face down on the road in N. Harris County

Authorities are asking for the public’s help after a man was killed in an overnight assault in North Harris County.

The incident happened just after midnight near the intersection of Green Ranch Drive and Balmorhea Avenue. Investigators say the victim was with a group of people when an argument broke out. During the altercation, the man was attacked and left lying face down on the road.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and rushed the victim to Kingwood Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from major blunt trauma.

At this time, deputies have no suspects and are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They are asking any witnesses to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers.
