Harris County defense attorney accused of contacting witness in domestic violence case to get victim to drop charges

Aaron Holt, a defense attorney was arrested Tuesday by Harris Co. Precinct 1 investigators, according to Constable Alan Rosen. Holt’s arrest was part of a public corruption case started by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

Tuesday afternoon, investigators with PCT One Constable Alan Rosen's Office, arrested a local defense attorney. This was a public corruption case that was initiated by the Harris County District Attorney's Office. Attorney Aaron Holt was indicted by a Harris County Grand Jury on charges of Tampering with a Witness. Holt is alleged to have contacted a witness in a domestic violence case in an attempt to have the victim drop the charges. #publicsafety #pctone. Attorney Holt was arrested outside his office in the 300 block of North Sam Houston Parkway in Greenspoint.

Holt was arrested outside of his office in Greenspoint after officials say he was accused of contacting a witness in a domestic violence case to have a victim drop the charges.

He was indicted by a grand jury, Constable Rosen said, on charges of Tampering with a Witness.
