MUST SEE PHOTOS: Constable deputies nab ATM robbery suspect in under one minute

NORTHWEST HARRIS COUNTY – Constable deputies with Precinct 4 made quick work of bringing an ATM robbery suspect to justice.

Just after 4 a.m. Wednesday, law enforcement with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a Wells Fargo located at North Eldridge Parkway and Spring Cypress Road in northwest Harris County.

The unit was in the area when they were alerted to an ATM robbery, and after a short pursuit with a pickup truck, they were able to arrest the driver.

Another suspect was able to escape on foot.

Officials said the suspects hooked the ATM machine to the back of their pickup truck and drove off, breaking the machine open.

Precinct 4 said they were able to recover $58,772 in loose cash and were able to return four cash drawers to Brinks.

Constable Deputies said they were able to locate the suspect vehicle nearby in under one minute, quickly arresting the driver.

That suspect had two open warrants, including one for Aggravated Robbery. He will be charged with Second Degree Felony Theft from an ATM Machine.

Authorities are continuing to search for the second suspect.
