Documents filed with the Texas Secretary of State show the man accused of killing Harris County Deputy Constable Maher Husseini, owned security companies in the Dallas area.
KPRC 2 Investigates reporter Robert Arnold found through Texas Department of Public Safety filings and secretary of state documents Murady owned at least two security companies and what appears to be a driving school.
Documents show the business charters for Murady’s companies were forfeited over the last two years, the latest on August 16.
Murady’s company filings with the state included the following:
Texas Protection Associates LLC, Director and Owner
Mailing address: Denton, Texas
Status: Business charter forfeited
In June of 2023, Murady was deleted as an Officer/Member/Manager of Texas Protection Associates LLC. A business associate with an address on Westpark Drive was listed. When KPRC 2 checked the address, we found a company with a different name occupying the office. The current tenants said they moved into the office 3 months ago.
On August 16, 2024, a Secretary of State filing shows Texas Protection Associates LLC shows the business charter was forfeited.

Status: Business charter forfeited February 23, 2023.
Delta Protection Services LLC, Manager
Business address: Arlington, Texas.
Status: Business charter forfeited.
On February 23, 2024 the business charter for Delta Protection Services LLC was forfeited, according to a Secretary of State filing.
Texas Blue Star Security Academy
Type of business: Alarm Basic Training School
Mailing address: Denton, Texas.
Status: Terminated. License expired July 31, 2023.
