SPRING, Texas – The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says a deputy constable shot an aggressive dog that was chasing after people in a subdivision in the Spring area Saturday.

The constable’s office said it happened in the Werrington subdivision.
A deputy attempted to stop the dog by using a Taser, but it was unsuccessful, according to the constable’s office.
The dog chased another person onto a car before officials say it charged the deputy again. This time, the deputy fired two shots from his service weapon at the dog.
The dog died in the incident.
