2 brothers charged, wanted in triple shooting in north Houston

Houston police are searching for two brothers, Jonathan Jesus Aguilar, 19, and Carlos Jose Aguilar, 25, who have been charged in connection with a triple shooting that took place in north Houston last month.

Both suspects are wanted for three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The incident happened around 1:04 a.m. on Aug. 17 at a home on Fulton Street near Harrington Street.

BACKGROUND: Argument leads to triple shooting in N Houston

According to investigators, an argument earlier in the evening between one of the victims and Jonathan Aguilar escalated. Jonathan and Carlos Aguilar allegedly returned to the house, where another altercation took place.

During the fight, both brothers are accused of opening fire and shooting three men, ages 39, 29, and 24, in the torso.

The last update in August stated that the victims were transported to area hospitals, with two expected to fully recover and one remaining in serious condition.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has filed aggravated assault charges against both Jonathan and Carlos.
