$5K REWARD: Houston police asking for public’s help in identifying Elgin robbery suspect

Houston police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a robbery at a convenience store on Elgin St. last June.

According to the victim, around 2:15 p.m., an unknown man approached him inside the store and threatened to shoot him if he did not hand over money. The suspect then grabbed the complainant’s wallet and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as approximately 30 to 35 years old, between 5′11″ and 6′0″ with a thin build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white Nike shirt and gray pants.

Houston police are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston directly. Tipsters who provide information leading to the suspect’s arrest or charging could receive a cash reward of up to $5,000.
