The historic theater will host its grand reopening on Thursday, October 3 to screen “Joker: Folie à Deux.” Tickets were listed as 99% sold out for the 7 p.m. show and the 10:30 p.m. show was filling up just as fast. There are still tickets available for late screenings of “In the Summers” and showtimes for other movies in case you miss the big day.

River Oaks Theater said in a Facebook post it will be officially opening doors to the public at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 3, and will greet its first 800 guests with a free gold coin.
