To honor her life and legacy, a remembrance ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Magnolia Creek Baptist Church, located at 3535 Calder Drive in League City.

Tim, who founded Texas EquuSearch in 2000, invites the public to join him and others who knew and loved Laura for an evening of reflection and remembrance.

Texas EquuSearch has been helping reunite families with missing loved ones for almost 25 years and has become a beacon of hope for those seeking answers.

The nonprofit organization, founded in the wake of Laura’s disappearance and death, provides search and recovery efforts across the globe. While some searches result in joyful reunions, many bring the closure that comes with finding remains and allow grieving families to lay their loved ones to rest.

Laura went missing in 1984 at the age of 16, and her body was discovered 17 months later. Her death and the uncertainty surrounding it led Tim to dedicate his life to helping others in similar circumstances, creating a lasting legacy for his daughter through Texas EquuSearch.
