Klein ISD student expelled, charged after sending threatening messages with hit list, photo of gun to other students

Klein ISD teacher terminated after accidentally showing pornographic video in class, district says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A Klein ISD student has been expelled and is facing charges after authorities say the student sent threatening messages with a list of 12 students names and a photo of a gun.

The district said they were made aware around 9 p.m. Wednesday of group text messages going around between students of Ulrich Intermediate School.

In the messages, the district said one of them had a list of the 12 student names and also displayed a photo of a gun.

The district first messaged parents about the incident at 6:56 a.m. Thursday morning, in which they said they had identified the student responsible for the messages

Thursday afternoon, the district sent out another message to parents at 1:47 p.m. in which they said Klein ISD Police had completed their investigation and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office has accepted charges of making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony, against the student responsible.

“Klein ISD Police have completed their investigation, and the Harris County District Attorney has accepted charges of making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony, against the student responsible. According to the Student Code of Conduct, the student will not return to campus and will be emergency expelled from Klein ISD,” the district said in the message to parents.
