According to Constable Mark Herman, officers were called to Northwest Fwy off Hwy 290 near Jersey Village after a witness spotted a trailer reported stolen earlier. Constable deputies were advised that the contents in the trailer were worth about $20,000, which included ammunition “and targets used to host SWAT training.”

Constable Herman says the thieves actually removed the ammunition but are looking to recover it as part of an ongoing investigation.
