CHANNELVIEW, Texas – The eastbound feeder road at East Freeway and Cedar Lane is closed after a deadly crash early Wednesday morning in Channelview.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the call dropped just before 6 a.m. and said one person died.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez posted on X, saying the crash involved an 18-wheeler and a sedan.

Sky 2 was above the scene, where law enforcement and emergency crews were seen working to clear the crash.
At this time, it’s unclear how long the eastbound feeder lane will remain closed. Authorities have not released additional details about the identity of the victim or the cause of the crash.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes as traffic delays build up.
