CINCO RANCH, Texas – The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is warning homeowners to stay alert after a suspicious man visited several homes in a Cinco Ranch neighborhood over the weekend.

The man, dressed in a reflective vest, introduced himself as a new neighborhood security officer but then started to engage in unsettling behavior.

In one encounter, captured on a Ring doorbell camera, the man identified himself as “Davinci,” and made inappropriate comments.

“I’m Davinci. It’s been a pleasure talking with you. I look forward to seeing either you or him naked, whether in your home or the pool,” he said.

The man was also seen asking several odd and invasive questions, including if the homeowner was comfortable with him flying a drone or jumping over fences.

One resident, Ben Simiskey, said he’s disturbed over the whole ordeal.

“We’ve never had anything like this happen. Obviously, this is disturbing. It just leaves a lot of questions about what they were doing. Did they know something about our particular home? Had they done research ahead of time?” Simiskey said.

Although no crime has been committed, according to the Sheriff’s Office, residents are being urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to prevent future incidents.
