‘Saving Wildlife: Return to Rwanda’

On Wednesday at 7 p.m. on KPRC 2, the KPRC 2 Plus Livestream, and Click2Houston.com, we proudly present: Saving Wildlife: Return to Rwanda, a captivating one-hour special that highlights the remarkable efforts of the Houston Zoo to protect endangered animals in their natural habitats. It’s been nine years since KPRC 2 last visited Rwanda with a team from the Houston Zoo to highlight the important work being done to save the endangered Mountain Gorilla.

We explore how the Houston Zoo and it’s conservation partners including the Rwanda Wildlife Conservation Association, the Gorilla Doctors Conservation Heritage Turambe, and the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund are making a tangible difference in preserving the country’s unique wildlife.
