Former Montgomery County Pct. 4 Commissioner Ed Rinehart passes away

Former Montgomery County Pct. 4 Commissioner Ed Rinehart has passed away, multiple sources confirmed.
Rinehart served as commissioner from 1999 to 2014. Under his administration, the Pct. 4 Senior Adult Program was created.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend, Ed Rinehart,” current Pct. 4 Commissioner Matt Gray posted on Facebook.
He was honored by having a park named after him in New Caney: the Ed Rinehart Sports Complex.
Rinehart’s passing was also shared by Constable Rowdy Hayden on Facebook.
