Investigators said they were called to an apartment complex on North MacGregor Way and Tierwester Street at about 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Officers found a man shot to death in the back of the apartment complex on MacGregor Way. He was between 18 and 25 years old and was wearing a mask and had a pistol on him, police said.
Another man was found shot in the torso and arm on Tierwester Street.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
“They’re trying to figure out how the two are related. When they arrived on the MacGregor call is when they said there was another person shot in the back of the apartments,” said Houston Police Department Lt. R. Willkens.
Police were asking witnesses to come forward with information.
“The deceased male and the other man that was shot, that we believe was shot at the same location, most likely jumped the fence and ran over to MacGregor is where we found him,” said Willkens.
