Witnesses said two family members got into an argument and they both pulled out guns.

One of the men shot the other, police said.

“Our preliminary information is that there was a disturbance between two adult family members that lead to weapons being produced and possibly an exchange of gunfire, but that’s not confirmed,” said Houston Police Department Commander Jonathan Halliday.

The shooter ran away from the scene, but later turned himself in.

Police said they don’t know the relationship of the men, but they are related.
