40 violent fugitives arrested in ′Had a good run’ operation in Houston area

HOUSTON – A multi-agency initiative called “Had a good run” led to the arrest of 40 violent fugitives across the Houston area.

A news conference was held Monday afternoon to announce the arrests and details about the undercover operation

The collaboration involved the U.S. Marshals Service, Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force (GCVOFTF), and the Harris County Constable’s Office - Precinct One (HCCO Pct. 1).

The inter-agency collaboration combined resources, intelligence, and expertise, to help remove 40 dangerous accused suspects from the Houston area streets

The arrests targeted suspects wanted for a variety of violent offenses, including attempted murder out of Louisiana, continuous sexual abuse of a child, aggravated assault, trafficking of illegal immigrants, and more.
