$5,000 reward offered for info on Houston fast food, thrift store robberies

Houston police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery at a fast food restaurant on San Felipe.

The robbery happened on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 10:40 a.m., when a man walked into the restaurant, went up to the counter, and showed a small revolver while demanding money from the cash register.

The employee complied, and the robber ran away after taking the cash.

Investigators described the gunman is described as a man, approximately 6 feet tall, with brown eyes, wearing a red shirt, black shorts, and an Astros cap.

The same man is believed to have committed a similar robbery on Sep. 15 at a thrift store on South Shepherd.

Anyone with details about the suspect is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477) or through their mobile app. Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest or charge may result in a cash reward of up to $5,000.
