WANTED: $5,000 reward offered in Federal Road Subway robbery

Houston police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery at a sandwich shop on Federal Rd.

On April 18, around 8:20 p.m., an unidentified man entered a Subway restaurant located in the 1000 block of Federal Rd. in Houston.

The suspect approached the employee at the counter, showed a handgun in his waistband, and demanded money from the cash register.

The employee handed over the cash and the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a man with a medium build, wearing a black shirt and light-colored pants.

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is continuing the investigation and urges anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston.

Tips leading to an arrest or charges may qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000. To remain anonymous and be eligible for the reward, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers directly by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitting a tip online at www.crime-stoppers.org.
