The iconic ‘Darth Vader’ House in West University is back on the market! Star Wars fans from across the world come to Houston to take selfies in front of the home, and now the right buyer has the chance to make it their permanent residence... for a price.

Built in 1992, the original owner’s inspiration for the house was actually a Stealth Bomber aircraft.

“The design just so happened to have the look of the Darth Vader mask in front of the house,” said listing agent Shelby Forbert. The home’s unique design has made it an Instagram sensation for influencers.

“What’s really cool is the first owner of this house was ahead of his time, because this is such a modern and contemporary home.”

Currently listed at $3.65 million, the home has recently had some renovations done.

“I think the new buyer would love the changes that we made with the blend of the original finishes that the first owner had,” said Forbert.

KPRC 2 is the only station that will give viewers an inside look at the recent upgrades to the property. The big reveal is scheduled for a ‘Star Wars’-themed Halloween event on Oct. 26.

“That’s going to be epic,” said co-lister Washington Ho (who you may know from the HBO Max reality series ‘House of Ho’).

“We’ve got a DJ, we’ve got food, an open bar, we’ve got hibachi grills going, a costume contest. We’ve got the best exotic cars coming by, a fire show, we’re going to go all out.”

“We got some scary Halloween decor. We have a pool. We have maybe some mermaids coming. We just have everything that you can think of so far. Great food, great music. We’re also expecting well-known influencers to attend, with the possibility of a celebrity appearance,” teased Forbert.

The invitation only event is sponsored by Team Savage, Eli Valet, Let’s Hibachi, Aston Martin, Rangoni Spirits, Advantage BMW, Houston Caesar Event Rentals, and Berg Hospitality. Pulling off this epic extravaganza, along with selling this one-of-a-kind home, is a challenge Ho and Forbert feel more than ready for.

“Selling a home as unique as this requires a creative and bold marketing approach, and we are ready to make it happen. With my background in reality TV and a strong pipeline, paired with Shelby’s expertise and connections, the force is definitely with us on this journey,” said Ho.

“It’s not an easy house to sell, but that’s why we love it. We love the challenge of selling something that other people can’t.”

KPRC 2′s Bill Spencer will be taking a tour of the home ahead of the party and plans to be there. His costume is to be determined!
