It happened around 2 a.m. when deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were called to the home on Guadalupe River near Veterans Memorial Drive. The homeowner said she was asleep when she heard a loud noise and went outside to see what happened.

“I try to keep my property up, but it looks like everything is just about gone, from what I can see,” Peggy Evans said. “Inside, the material things, that’s OK but it’s not OK because the thing is, you try to keep your materials looking good from the outside in.”
