LAS VEGAS – The Sugar Land Space Cowboys made history on Saturday night, clinching their first-ever Triple-A Championship with a 13-6 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers at a Las Vegas Ballpark.
This championship win comes just days after they secured their first Pacific Coast League title.

The Space Cowboys earned their spot in the championship game after sweeping the Reno Aces 2-0 earlier in the week at Constellation Field, solidifying their place as the PCL champions.
With a season that saw Sugar Land rack up 96 total wins, including a Minor League best 93 regular season victories, the team displayed dominance throughout the year, winning both the First and Second Half PCL titles.
This Triple-A Championship marked the first postseason appearance for the Space Cowboys and brought home another trophy. Previously known as the Sugar Land Skeeters, the team claimed two Atlantic League titles in 2016 and 2018 before joining the Astros organization in 2021.
