HOUSTON – Authorities are heading to a northwest Houston apartment complex after a woman was murdered Wednesday morning.
According to officials with the Houston Police Department, the woman was shot to death around 8 a.m. at the Willow Green apartment complex off Hwy 249 and Tomball Parkway.

After the murder, the shooter is believed to have fled the scene. The identities of the gunman and the victim are not available at this time, but witnesses at the scene told investigators the suspected killer and the victim know each other.
